RPOCA SECURES IMPROVED SERVICE ON B-38 SENECA/DEKALB BUS LINE

Toward Downtown Brooklyn (along Seneca & DeKalb Avenues from 6:45 am to 6:25 pm: ) The B-38 limited stops are: Seneca Ave; Knickerbocker Ave; Wilson Ave; Myrtle/Central Aves; Broadway, Malcolm X Blvd; Lewis Ave; Marcus Garvey Blvd; Nostrand Ave; Bedford Ave; Classon Ave; Vanderbilt Ave. and the Flatbush Avenue Extension. Toward Ridgewood ( along Lafayette and Seneca Avenues, from 8:05 am to 7:35 pm: ) The B-38 limited stops are: On Fulton Street: Flatbush Avenue Extension, Lafayette Ave. On Lafayette Avenue: Vanderbilt Ave; Classon Ave; Bedford Ave; Nostrand Ave; Marcus Garvey Blvd; Lewis Ave; Malcolm X Blvd; and Patchen Avenue. On DeKalb Avenue: Myrtle/ Central Aves; Wilson Ave; Knickerbocker Ave; Wycoff Ave. and Seneca Avenue. John Maier, RPOCA Board member who spearheaded this limited stop improvement on the B-38 line stated: “I am happy that the TA has been so responsive to our requests, and has acted to implement our recommendation in such a relatively short time frame”. Kerzner indicated that as a result of RPOCA’s recent general meeting hearing on all Ridgewood bus line service as well as membership comments, John will be researching other ways of improving bus line service in Ridgewood. He concluded, “ I am hoping John Maier is as successful in improving the Q-58 Maspeth/Corona/ Main Street bus route service, as he has been with the B-38 project”!
