The Myrtle Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) was established in July 1988 to provide supplemental services and programs for an enhanced shopping environment on Myrtle Avenue from Fresh Pond Road to Wyckoff Avenue in Ridgewood.
The Services Provides by the BID include the following:
SANITATION
Continuous manual sweeping patrol from 7am to 3pm seven days a week.
The Green Machine is used worldwide to provide additional cleaning.
MARKETING AND PROMOTION
MARKETING AND PROMOTION
Holiday Season activities include Pictures with Santa and entertainment throughout December.
Year round events and giveaways.
An annual street fair.

Illumination strands cross Myrtle Avenue and designated side streets with additional pole decorations.
